Features

Everything you need to share Wi-Fi — nothing you don't.

A focused utility. Enter your network, get a code, share it. No marketing screens, no upsells, no clutter.

Big, scannable QR codes

High-resolution, high-contrast codes built for the real world — print one for the wall or show it on screen. No logos in the way, no clutter.

Every network type

WPA / WPA2 / WPA3, WEP, open, and hidden networks. Special characters in your password are escaped correctly so the code always scans.

Auto-fill current Wi-Fi

Connected to the network you want to share? The app can read its name for you, so you only type the password.

Saved profiles

Keep your home, office, and rental networks ready to share. Regenerate any code in a tap — names and metadata stay organized.

Face ID + Keychain

Passwords live in the iOS Keychain, protected by Face ID or your passcode. Saved profiles can be locked behind authentication.

Share, save, print

Export the code to Photos or Files, send it through the share sheet, or send it straight to AirPrint. PNG, crisp at any size.

How it works

Three steps, about ten seconds.

1

Enter your Wi-Fi

Type the network name and password — or let the app auto-fill the current network's name. Pick the security type.

2

Get the QR code

A large, clean code appears instantly and updates as you type. No internet, no account, nothing leaves your device.

3

Share it anywhere

Save to Photos, export to Files, print it for the wall, or just hold up your phone. Guests point their camera and connect.

Privacy first

Your Wi-Fi password never leaves your iPhone.

There is no server, no account, and no analytics. QR codes are generated entirely on-device. Passwords are stored in the iOS Keychain, protected by Face ID or your passcode. The only permission the app asks for is optional — reading the current Wi-Fi name to save you typing.

No accounts

Nothing to sign up for. Open the app and go.

No tracking

Zero analytics SDKs. No advertising identifiers. No data collected.

On-device only

Codes are made locally; your network details stay on your iPhone.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

How do guests use the QR code?

They open the Camera app, point it at the code, and tap the banner that appears — iOS and Android both join the network automatically. No app needed on their side.

Does my Wi-Fi password get uploaded anywhere?

No. Everything happens on your device. There is no server, no account, and no analytics. Your password is stored only in the iOS Keychain, protected by Face ID or your passcode.

Can it scan nearby Wi-Fi networks for me?

iOS doesn't allow apps to list nearby networks. The app can read the name of the network you're currently connected to (with permission), and you type the password once.

Will the code work for guests on Android?

Yes. The Wi-Fi QR format is a shared standard — modern Android and iPhone cameras both read it and offer to join the network.

What about hidden networks and special characters?

Both are handled. Toggle Hidden on for networks that don't broadcast their name, and any special characters in your SSID or password are escaped so the code always scans cleanly.

How much does it cost?

WiFi QR Vault is free. No subscription, no in-app purchases, no ads.

Stop spelling out your Wi-Fi password.
