Short version

WiFi QR Vault runs entirely on your device. There is no server, no account, and no analytics. Your Wi-Fi network names and passwords never leave your iPhone or iPad — there is nowhere for that data to go.

We don't ask for your email, we don't run an analytics SDK, and we don't share data with anyone. The app makes no network connections of its own.

What we collect

Category What we do
Personal information None. No name, email, address, or account.
Identifiers None. No advertising ID, no device fingerprint.
Analytics None. No SDKs from Mixpanel, Amplitude, Firebase, etc.
Wi-Fi names & passwords Entered by you, used only to generate a QR code on your device. Saved passwords are stored in the iOS Keychain. They never leave the device.
Saved profile metadata Stored locally on your device (network name, security type, timestamps). Contains no plain-text passwords.
Location Used only — and only with your permission — so iOS can return the name of the Wi-Fi network you're currently connected to. Location is never stored, logged, or transmitted.
Photos Add-only access, used only when you tap Save to Photos to store a generated QR image.

How your Wi-Fi password is protected

  • Keychain storage. Saved passwords and manual payloads are stored in the iOS Keychain with device-only accessibility and user-presence protection — reading them requires Face ID, Touch ID, or your passcode.
  • No plain-text persistence. Passwords are never written to plain files, logs, or app preferences.
  • Optional profile lock. Saved profile names and metadata can be locked behind device authentication from Settings.

Permissions the app asks for

  • Location (optional). Required by iOS so the app can read the name of the Wi-Fi network you're connected to, to save you typing it. You can decline and type the name yourself; nothing breaks.
  • Photos — add only (optional). Used only when you save a generated QR image to your photo library.
  • Face ID / passcode. Used to protect saved profiles and the passwords stored in Keychain.

Data you give us

When you email us at info@meditechus.com, you're sending us whatever you write — usually a description of an issue and your iOS version. We use that only to reply and fix the problem.

We don't add you to a mailing list. We don't sell your address. We don't keep emails longer than needed to close the ticket.

Children's privacy

WiFi QR Vault is not directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone — the app collects no personal data at all.

Third parties

Apple. The App Store distributes the app. Apple's privacy policy covers the download.

That's the only third party involved. No subprocessors, no analytics, no chat widget on this site.

Your rights

Since we don't have your data, most data-protection rights (access, deletion, portability) have nothing to act on. To remove everything the app stores from your device, delete saved profiles inside the app, or delete the app — iOS removes its Keychain items and local data with it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this page if the app's behavior changes. The "Last updated" date at the top tells you when.
