FAQ
How do my guests connect with the QR code?
They open the Camera app, point it at the code, and tap the banner. iOS and Android both join the Wi-Fi network automatically — no app required on their device.
The code won't scan
Make sure the whole code is visible and well-lit, and that the security type matches your router (WPA/WPA2/WPA3 for most modern networks). Very long passwords create denser codes — increase the display brightness or print it larger. The app warns you when a payload is dense.
It can't read my current Wi-Fi name
iOS only returns the current network name when Location permission and Precise Location are enabled, and you're actually connected to Wi-Fi. If it can't read it, just type the network name manually — the rest works the same.
Where is my password stored?
In the iOS Keychain, protected by Face ID, Touch ID, or your passcode. It is never written to plain files and never leaves your device.
Does it work offline?
Completely. The app makes no network connections — QR codes are generated entirely on your device.
Can I share hidden networks?
Yes. Turn on the Hidden toggle for networks that don't broadcast their name, and the generated code tells scanners to look for it.
Is it really free?
Yes — no subscription, no in-app purchases, no ads.
